AFCU Credit Union For Kids Pledges $300,000 Towards Renovated Teen Room at Arkansas Children’s

In early February, Arkansas Children’s celebrated $300,000 pledged by Arkansas Federal Credit Union (AFCU) through the Credit Union For Kids partnership with Children’s Miracle Network in February.  The funds raised were used to renovate the Teen Room on the 4th floor of Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR.

This newly renovated teen room allows teen patients at Arkansas Children’s to have a place to hang out and enjoy activities such as air hockey, ping pong, a digital gaming table, video game consoles such as PS4 and Xbox Live, and tabletop games.

Staff from AFCU were on hand to celebrate $101,536.80 towards their pledge, as well as enjoy the newly opened space.

Enid Olvey, Arkansas Children’s Foundation Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Director of Child Life Services, Renee Hunte were on hand to greet and thank members of AFCU.
