Arkansas Children’s Celebrates National Pancake Day!

Arkansas Children’s spent February 25 celebrating participating IHOP locations across Arkansas for IHOP’s National Pancake Day.  There were several locations visited in the cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Benton, Bryant, Hot Springs, Conway, Russellville, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, and Rogers.

Arkansas Children’s visited with IHOP staff members who shared their personal passion for fundraising for the hospital.  Brittany Allen at the Cabot IHOP location shared that her and her daughter sold over 800 T-shirts as part of their fundraising efforts, reaching a total of 1,600 t-shirts sold to benefit Arkansas Children’s!  Brittany shared info with donors about her personal experience with Arkansas Children’s when she was 12 and was treated herself as a patient.

Hospital staff and Arkansas Children’s patients were also on-air sharing news on KTHV morning show, as well as making personal visits throughout the day at their local participating IHOP stores.

Overall it was a great National Pancake Day, and Arkansas Children’s continues to be grateful to IHOP’s partnership and support! #IHOP #archildrens #NationalPancakeDay
