Lisa Kelsey Awarded TV Person of the Year at Children’s Hospitals Week Summit

Arkansas Children’s would like to congratulate Lisa Kelsey from KNWA for being recognized for TV Person of the Year at Children’s Hospitals Week Summit. This is a national award that is given out annually at this conference. This award honors a host or producer of a local telethon who has gone above and beyond and demonstrated a long-term commitment to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital or Foundation.

Lisa has been instrumental in elevating the Give Kids a Miracle Telethon in the Little Rock-Springdale market. She is always willing to think outside of the box and is open to creative fundraising ideas such as partnering Telethon with Arkansas Dance Marathon. She also ensures KNWA is involved in supporting Arkansas Children’s Northwest in multiple ways in addition to telethon including being a media partner for the annual Will Golf 4 Kids Tournament and the Color of Hope Gala in Northwest Arkansas and sharing a patient story monthly to help bring further awareness to Arkansas Children’s Northwest.

Lisa Kelsey truly embodies the mission of Arkansas Children’s by striving to make children better today and healthier tomorrow. Congratulations to Lisa!
